Gers Ey Ward Monthfaining

Wassail all!

All who are able to attend Gers Ey Ward's monthfaining are invited, We will be holding an offering to the landvaettir (land spirits) in the lee of the waxing New Moon. Gers Ey Ward is a local chapter of the Normannii Thiud ok Reik, which practices Theodish Belief based on a Danish-Norman tribal model.

Those of you who have never before attended a Theodish ritual will probably find it a very different experience from Wiccan, neopagan, or even Asatru rituals. An explanation and short discussion will be held beforehand, for those who are unfamiliar with Theodish practices.

When: Thursday after the Full Moon (See event schedule for exact date and time)
Where: Morristown National Guard Armory (430 Western Ave, Morristown, NJ)

This is a regular event, to give interested newcomers a brief introduction to Theodism and the Normannii Thiud and to allow tribe members in the area a chance to get together on a regular basis for worship. Afterwards we may repair to a local eatery or bar for socializing.
